IPL can be used to treat any unwanted hair on the face as long as they have a bit of colour to them. IPL works on the malanin withing tghe hair so it isnt reccomended for whte/grey hairs. In this case we recommned our electrolysis treatment instead.

What does the treatment feel like?

The treatment sensation will vary depending on the individual but most describe it as a hot flick of an elastic band against the skin. Thanks to the advanced unique technology that comes with our machine, the Dynamic Reflex, most clients describe the discomfort as moderate to tolerable.
Who is IPL hair removal suitable for?

Most people are suitable for IPL but we always recommend a consultation first to make sure it is the right option for you. During this we will assess your hair and skin type to ensure the treatment will be safe and effective. It is important to note that grey hair or white hair is not suitable for IPL hair removal because it lacks the melanin needed for the treatment to work.
How does IPL hair removal work?

The light emitted by the devise is safely absorbed by the melanin (pigment) within the hair. The light turns into heat which effectively disrupts the hair follicle too help reduce future hair growth.
How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required will vary from person to person because of a few varying factors like hair type, skin tone and the area being treated. Many clients start to see results after just a few treatments. However, a minimum of 6 and up to 12 treatments, are recommended to deliver the best results and give the most effective and long lasting outcome.
